Refugee friends look to futures in medical field after receiving scholarships

THEY’VE each fled war-torn countries, but three young refugee women are looking to the future and hoping to use scholarships to enter futures in the medical sphere. Doonside Technology High School student Achan Lual Majok awarded Scholarship

More school work would not be high on most teenager’s wish lists, but that’s exactly how Achan Lual Majok plans to spend a timely $1000 boost. 26 May 2017: Fairfield students were among those to benefit from the almost 280 scholarships awarded at the Public Education Foundation’s annual awards night.
